 We provide information and educational support to African Diaspora organizations in Washington Metropolitan Area.

Books and publishing materials distributed throughout the world is controlled by a small number of Western countries. African Book publishing and other printed materials has never received the attention that it deserves.


PANED's Annual Award program recognizes organizations and individual members that have impacted others within the African community.

       

 

Who We Are: PANED is the most diverse African Diaspora nonprofit organization of educators and community development professionals and volunteers. Join PANED; a united voice for progressive African Diaspora community.

DIN: PANED organizes quarterly Diaspora Investment Network (DIN) Forum designed to engage Africans Diaspora community in Africa's economic development. We also organize monthly income development assistance lecture to advance economic growth and to create an environment that fosters innovation, promotes entrepreneurship within the Diaspora community.

Health Fair: With partnership with the Primary care Coalition of Montgomery County in Maryland, PANED also organizes annual African Immigrant Health Fair that provide free health screening for adults; Cholesterol, Blood Pressure, Glucose, Prostrate and Dental Screening, HIV testing and much more.


AEW:  Africa Environmental Watch, is an organization. currently active in in Liberia. The lack of no sanitary landfill to receive about 600 to 800 metric tons of garbage collected each day in Liberia, particularly in the city of Monrovia where half the country’s population resides is the underlining problem of the solid waste crisis. CEP: PANED Cultural Enrichment Program is designed to educate the African immigrant children in Princes George's County area, the socio-cultural and moral values of African people through arts, music and theatre and book reading. 


NGO Support: PANED organizes annual benefit diner for small nonprofit organizations like the  Dream Helper Global Mission; a US-based non profit organization serving in the Mt. Meru area in Tanzania. The organization is empowering the people of Mt. Meru by building churches and schools for the orphans and widows of Mt. Meru – Tanzania
