PANED Advisory Board


There are four members in PANED's Advisory Board and they review annually PANED programs and projects and make recommendations. The Board also advise the office of the executive in carrying out its duties.

CONGO
Dr. Michael Kasongo holds a B.S. in Biochemistry from the Free University of Congo; Master in Pastoral Counseling from Asbury Theology Seminary; received both M.A. and Ph.D. Degrees from the University of Kentucky with major in History and minor in International Relations.

SIERRA LEONE
Dr. John Karefa-Smart was the 2002 Sierra Leone  Presidential contender under the ticket of  t
he United National People's Party. He is also an ordained Elder of the United Methodist Church. BIO

Dr. Granville Sawyer received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee in 1972, a MS in Industrial Administration from Carnegie Mellon University in 1974 and a PhD in Finance with specialty in Mergers and Acquisitions and Supporting Areas of Strategic Management and Statistics from the University of Tennessee in 1986. Dr. Rena Karefa-Smart is the first black woman graduate from the Yale Divinity School in 1945. She is a proponent of global ecumenism, an Episcopal Priest, and a former Professor of Christian Ethics at Howard University School of Religion, Washington, DC. BIO

NIGERIA

Ms. Miriam Ikunaiye-Campbell is the President and the Executive Director of PANED. She  provides leadership & long-term guidance for PANED. She is the lead person for African Diaspora Resettlement and Transition Assistance Program (ADRATAP). BIO

Dr. Aaron Adade is the Vice President - Operations of PANED. He is responsible for facilitating PANED’s growth and Development. He is the lead person for PANED Lecture Series. BIO
